Ms Johnson, a trained Carnatic and western musician, was best known for her work as a singer in the Malayalam films Praise The Lord and Thira, and for composing the soundtrack of His Name Is John. Her father Johnson Master was a renowned and respected music composer in Malayalam film industry.
