A "handsome monthly amount" was paid by the arrested corporate executives to those "hired" for obtaining the "stolen documents" from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Delhi Police said in its charge sheet submitted to a Delhi court in the documents leak case.

After Leaks, Bureaucrats Need Permission to Take Files Home

Stung by leaks of classified documents, the government has made it mandatory for bureaucrats to take permission before carrying files home. Ministries have also been ordered to reduce the use of intercoms and maintain a record of all photocopies made in their offices.
