A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness is based on the story of Saba, a survivor of an attempted honour killing who was beaten, shot and thrown into a river after she eloped with her lover. At the last moment, she tilted her head as a bullet grazed her cheek instead of shattering her skull
