Despite a request made in person by Sharad Pawar, the Shiv Sena has decided it will not let Australian players participate in cricket matches in the next season of the Indian Premier League, (IPL3), scheduled to begin in March.

A day after Pawar requested Thackeray to withdraw threat against Oz players' participation in IPL, Shiv Sena said it would take a final call in 2-3 days.
