India, Canada Expel Diplomats In Tit-For-Tat Move Amid Deepening Rift

India has asked Canadian diplomats in New Delhi to leave the country by Saturday after Ottawa said it was investigating its Indian ambassador and other diplomats as "persons of interest", after the killing last year of a Sikh separatist leader.

Instagram seems to have blocked the #sikh hashtag on its platform. Some users have complained about the issue on Twitter. The new blocking comes just over five months after Facebook and Instagram were seen restricting the #sikh hashtag on their platforms for a number of users.

Sandeep Dhaliwal, the Indian-American Sikh police officer who was shot dead in US on Friday during a traffic stop, was a "hero for his community" during Hurricane Harvey that hit Texas in 2017, the New York Police Department said today.
