Simi Camp Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed its final charge sheet in December 2007 Wagamon Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) arms training camp case against two absconding accused Wasiq Billa and Alam Jeb Afridi for alleged sedition and other offences.

A special NIA court in Kochi today sentenced two convicts in the Panayikulam SIMI camp case to 14 years rigorous imprisonment and three others to 12 years after they were found guilty under various IPC sections and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
