A firm linked to Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, has been issued fresh summons by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a land deal in Rajasthan allegedly used for money laundering when the Congress was in power at the Centre and in the state.

Recently, Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in law Robert Vadra converted Sky Light Hospitality, a private limited company owned by him, into a "Limited Liability Partnership", which means that one partner cannot be held responsible for another partner's wrongdoing.

The Haryana Government has denied allegations against its Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) in connection with the Robert Vadra-DLF land deal in the light of claims made by whistleblower IAS officer Ashok Khemka.

Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, did not buy land at below-market rates in Haryana, according to an official inquiry conducted by the Congress government in the state.
