Meta Platforms announced several notable updates for its Ray-Ban Meta Glasses at its Connect event on Wednesday. One of the most notable additions is video capability which enables the wearer to ask information about the landmarks and other places that they’re seeing in real-time.

Meta and Ray-Ban have renewed their partnership and will work on "multi-generational smart eyewear products" over the next decade, the company behind the eyewear maker announced on Tuesday. The collaboration between Meta and Ray-Ban began in 2019 with the Ray-Ban Stories, while the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses were launched in 2023.
