Smog In Milan

To combat the thick smog enveloping parts of Italy, Milan has imposed a 3 day ban on private vehicles from this Monday through Wednesday. Cars, bikes and scooters have all been banned for a daily duration of 6 hours between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

Cars were banished today from the streets of Milan while in Rome every second vehicle was forced off the road as Italian authorities battled a buildup of smog after a spell of unseasonably dry, calm weather.
