Solar Powered Spacecraft Juno

NASA on Sunday shared a striking image of our solar system's largest planet Jupiter. The "JunoCam instrument captured the striking view of vortices - hurricane-like spiral wind patterns - near Jupiter's north pole," the space agency said.

NASA's solar-powered Juno spacecraft has successfully completed its eighth science flyby over Jupiter's mysterious cloud tops, the US space agency said today.

Juno is the first solar-powered spacecraft designed to operate at such a great distance from the Sun.
