Leaders from several political parties, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi, have tweeted condolences on hearing that former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee has died. He was 89. The 10-time parliamentarian was admitted to a Kolkata hospital with a kidney ailment.
