A 35-year-old unemployed man allegedly killed his father, an employee of Central Coal Fields Limited (CCL), at Barkakana in the district to get a job in the PSU on compassionate ground, police said on Sunday.

A 22-year-old boy, who had killed his father on January 26 in Chindwara, confessed to his crime after being caught today.
