Spain Joins South Africa

Spain said on Thursday that it will join South Africa's case at the UN's top court in which Pretoria has accused Israel of "genocide" in the Gaza Strip.

Iker Casillas played 167 times for Spain, also winning two European Championships in 2008 and 2012, and made more than 700 appearances for Real Madrid.

Negredo was traveling Friday to join up with his new teammates on their preseason tour in South Africa, along with Jovetic. The 23-year-old Montenegro striker has been signed after scoring 40 goals in 134 appearances for Fiorentina. He is reunited with former Fiorentina teammate Matija Nastasic at the Etihad Stadium.

West Indies were eliminated from the ICC Champions Trophy after their match against South Africa ended in a tie (Duckworth-Lewis method) with a poor net run-rate going against them as South Africa joined India from the group in the semifinals.
