Mumbai came together this week to felicitate people with cerebral palsy from across India. In a function hosted by ADAPT - Able Disabled All People Together (formerly the Spastics Society of India) - individuals with cerebral palsy were rewarded for their resilience and achievement.

The 3rd of December is observed as the World Disability Day. Observance of this Day provides opportunities for participation by the governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as the private sector - to focus upon innovative measures to further implement international norms and standards related to persons with disabilities.
