The pilot of a Spice Jet aircraft was disturbed by a laser light show happening in vicinity of the Kolkata Airport yesterday. The pilot was distracted by the laser lights along the final approach path of the aircraft.

Three pilots were on Tuesday suspended by civil aviation watchdog, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, for violating safety norms, news agency ANI reported today.
