Sources inside the West Bengal Assembly said that the resolution would be sent to Sachin Tendulkar. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee also revealed that it was Mamata Banerjee who suggested the maestro's name for the highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna.
