Relics from Srinagar shrine displayed to allay fears about damage

The holy relics, retrieved from the Dastageer Sahib shrine minutes before it was gutted in a fire incident here on Monday, were displayed today to allay apprehensions about any damage caused to them.

Normal life was disrupted in Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar today after its revered Sufi shrine of Dastageer Sahib was burnt in a mysterious fire. Curfew was imposed in most parts of the city to prevent clashes of the kind that shook the city on Monday.
