Auto components major Bosch on Friday said it will be recruiting about 3,000 engineers in India this year.

India has the potential to achieve government's ambitious plan to increase its solar power capacity target five-fold to 100 GW by 2022, a top executive of Bosch Ltd has said.

Auto components maker Bosch on Tuesday posted a 15.48 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 234.25 crore for the quarter ended September 30.

Auto component maker Bosch Ltd on Wednesday reported 38.79 per cent decline in net profit for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012 at Rs 172.06 crore.

The Bosch Group, products and services provider in diversified areas, today announced appointment of Steffen Berns as managing director of Bosch Ltd and president of Bosch Group in India. He will also lead the operations for Bosch group in India, the company said in a statement.
