The CBI registered an FIR against Monish Malhotra, now posted as Superintendent in the GST Council, on Wednesday on charges of accepting money from businessmen on quarterly and monthly basis for extending undue favours to them.

The CBI has arrested a Superintendent of Central Excise Department for allegedly stealing 100 kg gold from custom's godown at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport 13 years ago, an official said on Thursday.
