The Supreme Court has sought a response from the child rights body National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) while taking note of its letter which directed eight states, accounting for over 70 per cent of children in care homes, to ensure their return to their families.

1575 Minor Victims Of Sex Abuse Stay At Child Care Institutions: Centre
