Supreme Court On Tractor Rally

The Supreme Court today barred any agency from arresting Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and six journalists in cases relating to their tweets in connection with the Republic Day tractor rally violence in New Delhi. The cases will be taken up for hearing after two weeks, the court said.

Petitions on the violence that took place during the tractor rally held by protesting farmers on Republic Day will not be heard now, the Supreme Court said today, pointing out that police investigations into the matter are on.
