Eight dead, four injured in road accident

Eight people were killed and four others injured after a van collided with a truck near Sandhper village on the Sayan-Olpad state highway today, police said. While six people died on the spot, two others succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. The four injured have been admitted to the Surat Civil Hospital, they said.
