Two unidentified people opened fire at the car of Rahul Sharma, who had alleged a "scam" in the Public Works Department (PWD) in Delhi involving a relative of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Mr Sharma escaped unhurt.

Delhi High Court today refused to stay trial court proceedings in a criminal defamation case filed against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Justice I S Mehta, however, granted exemption to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders from personal appearance on April 6 before the trial court in the matter.
