Suspected Underground Tunnel

BSF on Wednesday detected a suspected underground cross-border tunnel in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, nearly a fortnight after security forces gunned down two suicide bombers of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit who had infiltrated from Pakistan.

A massive operation is on near the International border in Samba sector to unearth an underground tunnel which was suspected to have been used by four Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists to sneak into the country from Pakistan, said officials on Sunday.

Iran's official IRNA news agency says authorities have arrested 40 suspects linked to the discovery of an underground tunnel in the country's far east, near the Pakistani border.
