Suv Runs Over Labourers

A 60-year-old woman labourer was killed after a sports utility vehicle (SUV) hit her in Maharashtra's Palghar district, following which a group of angry locals smashed the vehicle and thrashed its two occupants, police said on Sunday.

Two labourers sleeping on a footpath were killed while another was injured when a speeding SUV ran over them on the Gorakhnath overbridge in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur, police said.
