Swacch Bharat Ranking

India's cleanest city is Indore in Madhya Pradesh and the runner up is also from the same state - Bhopal. 25 cleanest cities of India have been ranked as part of "Swachh Survekshan 2017" with 37 lakh votes from 73 cities, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu announced today.

Mysuru in Karnataka, the city of palaces, has won a new distinction. It has been ranked as the cleanest city in the country on two Swacch Bharat parameters - reduction of open defecation and solid waste management.

Raking up a reported survey which ranked Jaipur at 370th position in terms of cleanliness, Congress leader Sachin Pilot today accused the BJP governments at the Centre and state of misleading people with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as it has proved to be a failed attempt.
