The Madras High Court has quashed criminal cases pending against two DMK ministers, T M Anbarasan and Ma Subramaniam, and 16 others before the Special Court for cases against MPs and MLAs in the city

Vigilance officials today conducted raids in the premises of former DMK minister N K K P Raja across Tamil Nadu in connection with a disproportionate assets case. The raids by officials of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption were in progress in Chennai and Erode districts, DVAC sources said.
