Talvar Bollywood Movie

It doesn't happen often that the President shows interest in watching a Bollywood film, but the Rashtrapati Bhavan at Raisina Hill is gearing itself for a grand screening of the film Talvar based on the Arushi Talwar muder case later this month.

According to a source close to him, Irrfan could not be a part of Jazbaa premiere and a planned screening for Talvar due to his ill-health . He had to skip the screening of Talvar, a movie based on the 2008 murder case of 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar and her family's domestic servant Hemraj, for which he had invited Deepika Paduk...

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Talvar is based on the Aarushi Talwar murder case. "I am curious to see in which angle the story has been presented. I think the entire country is waiting for the movie," said Shahid

"When Meghna offered me the film, I knew immediately I was on for it. I was like 'Wow'. I found it unusual, different and interesting and one does not get offered interesting things anyway. It is not like one is getting brilliant characters every day," Konkona told PTI

"Vishal ji was like a great support on this because this subject and the genre are completely unknown to me. He is an accomplished writer. When he watched Dus Kahaniyaan, he was so impressed that he expressed his wish to produce my film and that did happen after 8 years," she said
