Jayalalithaa sanctions Rs 30 cr to modernise Fire Services

The Tamil Nadu government today sanctioned over Rs 30 crore towards procuring modern equipment for the fire and rescue services department. This includes providing 1,980 personnel with modern gear, including gumboots, fireproof helmets and masks, a state government press release here said.
