The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday told the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court that the establishment of Lokayukta in the state was under its consideration.

Anna Hazare is set to visit Chennai on Sunday. The anti-corruption crusader is expected to address a public meeting at the Pachaiyappa's College grounds in the afternoon. Thereafter, he will meet volunteers of India Against Corruption and discuss the direction of the movement with them.
