Tamil Nadu is planning to hold an ambitious Covid vaccination drive across the state on September 12, state Health Minister Ma Subramanian announced today.

The community hall at the Sembakkam village in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu district was unusually packed with women on Tuesday.

The mega vaccination drive in Chennai on Thursday clocked a record 1.25 lakh doses after the numbers showed a sharp decline this month. The city corporation had set up 400 camps, including two hundred mobile units, to achieve the target.
