Tarn Taran Bomb Blast

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has attached the property of a key accused in a bomb blast case that occurred in Punjab's Tarn Taran district in 2019--a big boost in its crackdown on the terror ecosystem in Punjab.

Four persons were detained in connection with a low-intensity blast that took place at the Tarn Taran Police Sanjha Kendra in Punjab on December 10, Inspector General of Police Sukhchain Singh Gill said on Monday.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA)on Thursday arrested Bikramjit Singh, wanted in the 2019 Tarn Taran bomb blast case, at the Delhi airport after securing his extradition from Austria, an official spokesperson said.
