The medical superintendent of the Trauma Centre of Delhi's AIIMS has been removed from his post over the death of a COVID-19 positive journalist, who had allegedly jumped from the fourth floor on Monday, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan tweeted on Friday.

Delhi government's Principal secretary Rajendra Kumar and Deputy Secretary of Chief Minister's Secretariat Tarun Sharma were arrested today in a Rs 50-crore corruption case, triggering another political flashpoint between the government and the Centre.

Consolidated net profit for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 rose to 23.74 billion rupees from 22.89 billion rupees in the same year-ago period.
