New York police on Friday said they arrested a man outside Taylor Swift's building, which he had crashed his vehicle into and attempted to forcibly enter.

A man from Connecticut, USA was so overpowered by his love for Taylor Swift that he robbed a bank in order to impress the popstar, NBC Connecticut quotes local police. And if robbing a bank wasn't enough, he drove over to her mansion and threw money over her fence.

The police also confirmed that the man was detained for an investigation at 4:40 pm. Those who live near Taylor's house got "spooked" by the man when they saw him standing outside their home. According to eyewitnesses, the man asked Taylor to come out of her home. They also felt that the man was unstable
