World Tuberculosis Day: Tuberculosis has the ability to severely damage the fallopian tubes, if not treated at the initial stage. It can further lead to serious health complications and also result in infertility, say experts.

Union Health Minister J P Nadda said that these are part of the government's Digital India programme and are in line with the commitment to prioritise public health.

"I myself was a sufferer of tuberculosis in the year 2000. It was detected quite by accident. But the fact is that I did undergo a certain course of action.
