Teenage Girl Escapes Rape

A terrified teenager ran naked on the street as she tried to escape three men who had kidnapped, beaten and raped her in a Rajasthan town on Monday evening. All three attackers have been arrested.

A 16-year-old girl was kidnapped by two motorcycle-borne men who tried to rape her at a garage but she jumped off the first floor and escaped, police said on Saturday. She was admitted to hospital with injuries.

In yet another rape case in Uttar Pradesh, a thirteen-year-old Dalit girl was sexually assaulted for two days in Kudwar area, police said on Thursday. The victim was held captive for two days at a tubewell and raped by two youths from where she escaped on Thursday morning, Superintendent of Police, Govind Agarwal, said.
