In another act of violence in the protests against the movie "Padmaavat", two men on Saturday threw a petrol bomb outside a theatre in Thane that was screening the film, the police said.

A Mumbai court on Tuesday sentenced two men to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for the 2008 Thane and Vashi bomb blasts. The duo Ramesh Gadkari and Vikram Bhave were also slapped with a fine of Rs 11,000 each for their role in the blasts in two theatres and a cinema hall in Thane, Vashi and Panvel in mid-2008.
