Another ally with two MPs pulls out of UPA

The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha, led by Babulal Marandi has withdrawn the support of its two MPs to the UPA government. The JVM was part of the UPA. Though this will not impact the stabilty of the government, the JVM's withdrawal of support comes two weeks after a major UPA ally, the Trinamool Congress, pulled out of the alliance.

The six Congress ministers in the West Bengal government met Mamata Banerjee at her office in Kolkata today and handed their resignation letters. They are now heading to meet Governor M K Narayanan to withdraw support to the state government. This marks the complete end of the Congress-Trinamool alliance.
