Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday said the unprecedented floods in the state have caused an estimated loss of Rs 15,000 crore, affecting infrastructure, agriculture, and other property.

As part of a goodwill gesture, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, like in previous years, sent mango, hilsa fish, sweets to Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday as a gift.

"With the introduction of this innovative initiative, we are ensuring that no student is left behind in their pursuit of education," Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said.
