Turkey Kills Isis Members

US forces operating in Syria have killed a senior member of the ISIS group blamed for an attack on a nightclub that left 39 dead, officials said Friday.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Turkish forces have killed some 3,000 ISIS in Syria and Iraq, insisting that no other country has matched Turkey's efforts against the extremist group.

Turkey has killed almost 900 alleged members of the ISIS since January through artillery fire and air raids, the state-run Anatolia news agency said Monday, citing military sources.

Turkish police were searching Monday for three alleged ISIS members suspected of planning further attacks after a suspected ISIS suicide bombing in Istanbul that killed four foreigners, Dogan news agency reported.
