Stepping up COVID-19 relief initiatives in Uttarakhand, Hero MotoCorp has handed over 13 advanced life support ambulances to the Chief Minister.

Hero MotoCorp has welcomed the Prime Minister's decision to extend the nationwide lockdown to May 3, 2020.

Hero MotoCorp has donated 60 first-responder mobile ambulances across India. These ambulances have been custom-built as an accessory on Hero motorcycles with a displacement of 150 cc and more. These will be distributed to relevant authorities across the country.

Following the backlash on imposing a blanket ban on non-ISI marked helmets, the Bengaluru City traffic police have decided to withdraw its drive on substandard helmets. The crackdown that was supposed to start from February 1, 2018, has been called off after the city traffic police asked for clarification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Para-medics will ride these two-wheeler medical ambulances which can reach the accident or casualty spot within record time.
