The Rs 750-crore IPO of Ujjivan Small Finance was subscribed more than 165 times on the last day of issue on December 4.

Investors can bid for Ujjivan Small Finance Bank shares in lot sizes of 400 equity shares per lot and in multiples of 400 shares thereafter.

Ujjivan Financial Services, which has received an in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) to set up a small finance bank, plans an investment of more than Rs 300 crore in technology over next 5 years for core banking solutions.

The company, which has already received in-principle nod to set up a small finance bank, is the second microfinance firm to go public this fiscal. Another microfinance firm Equitas Holdings came out with its IPO last month.

The company is aiming to launch small finance bank during the first quarter of 2017, managing director and CEO Samit Ghosh said.
