Uk Closes Post-study Visas

Minister of State for Human resource Development D Purandeswari said the Post-Study Work visa, which earlier allowed students to work in the UK for two years after they completed their studies, is closed from April 6, 2012.

A facility that allowed Indian students to work in UK for two years after their courses are over will be closed from Friday as part of the Cameron government's drive to cut migration, which may put-off those aspiring to study in the UK.
