Uk Stand On Kashmir

The Supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, on Wednesday expressed concern over the situation of Muslims in Kashmir, two weeks after the centre ended the special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 and split the state into two union territories.

Countries from across the globe condemned the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district with nations like the United States, UK, Russia and France asserting that they stand with India in combating the menace of terrorism. China however, kept its stand on Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar unchanged.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has said that United Kingdom's stand on Kashmir remains unchanged and it is a bilateral issue for India and Pakistan to address.
