China Mobile has reportedly reached out the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with some proposals around the metaverse sector. The first suggestion from China is a digital IDs system for metaverse users. ITU’s metaverse focused group is slated to meet in October, where China’s proposal could be tabled for a vote.
