Gangster Ejaz Lakdawala brought a plastic bottle filled with dead mosquitoes to a court here to highlight the menace of these flying insects faced in a jail where he is lodged and sought a net, but his plea was rejected.

An undertrial prisoner was today shot dead in Sikarahna sub-divisional court premises in Bihar's East Champaran district by bike borne gangsters who had come to help him flee, police said.
