Unvaccinated Ban In Public Places

The Assam government has decided to exclude all unvaccinated people from public places amid record numbers of COVID-19 infections driven by the highly contagious Omicron variant in the state.

Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar today also said that public institutions will mandate double vaccination for entry and no more than 200 people will be allowed in public places and events starting January 1.

The people who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 would not be allowed entry into public places in Madurai district from December 13, District collector Dr S. Aneesh Sekhar has informed, according to news agency ANI.
