Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil targeted Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and sought to known why he recently raked up the months-old issue of "bungalows" allegedly owned by CM Uddhav Thackeray's wife in a village in Raigad district.

Former Uttar Pradesh chief ministers Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav today withdrew their pleas from the Supreme Court seeking time to vacate their official residences allotted to them when they held office, saying they have already moved out.

Akhilesh Yadav, accused of leaving his government bungalow damaged and missing some objects, today walked into a hurriedly-called press conference carrying two taps. "If the government can prove I took out taps from the bathroom, I am willing to replace them," said the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
