India has sought a report from its Ambassador in the UAE on the killing of an Indian fisherman in a US Navy ship firing at a docking point in Dubai even as the US on Tuesday said the incident is under investigation.

India has asked the UAE to register a case against the US navy after one of its ships opened fire on a boat off Dubai. A fisherman from Tamil Nadu was killed; three others from the same state were injured. India is pursuing the case with the US government as well.
