The Uttarkhand High Court today posted for November 19 hearing in a petition filed by Chief Minister Harish Rawat against institution of a CBI enquiry in the sting operation against him after his advocate argued that since FIR has not been lodged, a probe cannot be ordered.

Uttarakhand should not have been placed under President's rule, the state's top court decided today, ordering that Harish Rawat return as Chief Minister to take a trust vote on April 29. Like in earlier hearings, the judges of the Uttarakhand High Court reproached the Centre today for removing Mr Rawat on grounds that they said are invalid.
